Overview

As a Performance Tool Engineer at Mercedes-Benz Grand Prix, you will build the software tools and systems that form the core of our five-time World Championship winning Team. In this role you will be working the breadth of critical data and simulation systems that keep a modern Formula One team winning; from trackside software that allow our Race Engineers to operate optimally in a high pressure environment, to the core systems that underpin our Driver in the Loop simulator and our High Performance Computing infrastructure.

This role sits within the Vehicle Performance department, whilst working closely with the Simulation and Modelling group to ensure these systems are reliable and performant. You will be involved in the full software release cycle, from large infrastructure projects to small bug fixes. This role requires excellent coding skills and the ability to produce high quality, innovative, software solutions, balanced with great communication skills.
