Overview

Job Purpose:
As part of the team, you will prepare and maintain our fleet of high performance vehicles so
that our extensive range of driving experiences can be delivered to the highest standards.
Role Responsibilities
Preparing vehicles to agreed technical and presentational standards
 Performance vehicle maintenance in line with maintenance schedules
 Conducting vehicle inspections, fault diagnostics and subsequent mechanical repairs
 Removing and replacing vehicle parts and components
 Conducting all vehicle bay activity in line with company housekeeping standards
 Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety guidelines
You may be required to perform other duties as directed by the Workshop Manager and/or
Lead Technician

 Conscientiously completing all tasks to a high standard and within agreed time
frames
 Upholding the professional image and culture of the Silverstone Team at all times
 Working in a fast paced environment to deadlines
 Willing to work additional and, at times, long and unsociable hours when required
including weekends

 Direct relationship with Technicians & Lead Technician
 Chief Instructor
 Third party suppliers

Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications
 At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role
 Working knowledge of the performance car or motorsport sector
 Understanding of vehicle dynamics
 Knowledge of modern electrical systems
 Experience of welding and fabrication (desirable)
 Strong diagnostic skills
 Positive work ethic
 Ability to work under pressure in a busy workshop
 Dedicated and ambitious
 Self-motivated and proactive
 Committed to providing great customer service
 Team player
 Leadership skills (desirable)
 Good communication skills
 NVQ Level 3, or equivalent, in Motor Vehicle Engineering
 Clean UK driving licence
 Trailer licence (desirable)
